Our Mission is to
New Prospect Baptist Church exists to share Christ with others and to minister unselfishly to others in the community and world in Jesus' name.
Our mission is rooted in the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) and the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:37-40).
EXALT JESUS:
Our top priority is to exalt Jesus Christ. He tells us in John 11:32 if He is lifted up that He will draw all men unto Himself. In all we sing about, preach about, teach about, and do Jesus must be at the center of it all.
EQUIP BELIEVERS:
The Great Commission calls us to make disciples that in turn make disciples. We believe that requires us to equip believers with truth by preaching and teaching the Word of God.
ENGAGE THE COMMUNITY:
The Great Commandment calls us to love our neighbors. We believe this involves ministering to the needs of our community and reaching them with the Gospel of Jesus.
