Student Ministries
New Prospect provides many different ways for students of all ages to get rooted in God's Word, to grow in their relationship with Him, and to become a fruitful Christian. Below you will find information about some of our ministries to students.We'd love to meet you and your family! Join us for Sunday School or a worship service on Sundays. Sit in on a Bible lesson on a Wednesday night. Or join us for our next community event! There's something for every one and every age!
Nursery & Children's Church
New Prospect offers two nursery groups, one for birth to two year olds and the other for toddlers. Nursery is available both during Sunday School and during morning worship.Children Church (ThriveKids) is a weekly ministry for students age 5-10 years old. Ministry leaders team-teach a Bible lesson each week that involves usually involves a craft, music, or activity. Students also learn memory verses with their lessons each week.
ThriveKids is held after Sunday School, during the 11:00 worship service. Check out these pictures from the past year in ThriveKids.
Sunday School
Our Thrive Groups (Sunday School groups) meet on Sunday mornings at 9:45. There are groups for students ages:- Nursery
- Toddler nursery
- Primary (PreK/Kindergarten)
- 1st - 3rd grade
- 4th - 6th grade
- 7th - 12th grade
Each of our teachers does a great job of encouraging students' growth in the Word by teaching engaging Bible lessons each week. Thrive Groups often have fellowship events outside of church as well.
Wednesday Night Bible Study
On Wednesday nights, students meet for a time of Bible Study and fellowship. Our Wednesday night leaders engage students in exciting Bible lessons and challenge them to learn more about what it means to be a disciple of Christ.Bible Study begins at 7:00, but students often arrive early to enjoy a time of music and fellowship before the study starts.
Other Events and Activities
There are many other opportunities for students to engage with others their own age at New Prospect. There are events that take place monthly, and other events that take place annually.
